Lindsay Lohan is set to star in her first scripted TV series, “Count My Lies”, a drama in development at Hulu. The show is based on a novel by Sophie Stava and comes from former “This Is Us” showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Lohan will not only star as Sloane Caraway but also executive produce.
The show centers around a compulsive liar who gets hired as a nanny for a charismatic couple, Violet and Jay Lockhart. However, her new job brings secrets that threaten to explode, putting everyone at risk.
This will be Lohan’s first lead role in a TV or streaming series. She has previously guest-starred on several shows, including “Ugly Betty”, “Eastbound & Down”, and “Glee”. The show is written by Aptaker and Berger, who will also executive produce via their production company. Lohan, along with Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company, will co-executive produce the series.
