Lindsay Lohan Stars in Hulu Drama Series “Count My Lies”

Lindsay Lohan is set to star and executive produce the drama series “Count My Lies” at Hulu, based on Sophie Stava’s novel of the same name. This marks her first lead role in a TV series. She will play wealthy mother Violet.

The series follows Sloane Caraway, a compulsive liar who takes a nanny position with Violet and Jay Lockhart, seemingly landing her dream job. However, she soon discovers a household filled with secrets that threaten to explode with catastrophic consequences.

Lohan’s project comes after her recent string of acting roles, including the Netflix film “Falling for Christmas” in 2022, and two upcoming rom-coms for Netflix, “Irish Wish” and “Our Little Secret.” She will also appear in a sequel to the 2003 film “Freaky Friday.”

The show is produced by The Walk-Up Company, with Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger serving as co-showrunners. Sophie Stava’s novel was published earlier this year, and she serves as an executive producer on the Hulu adaptation.

Lohan will be joined by other notable producers, including Scott Morgan and CAA representatives for Aptaker and Berger.
