Lindsay Lohan is set to star in a new Hulu drama series called Count My Lies, which is based on a novel by Sophie Stava. The show will follow the story of Sloane Caraway, a compulsive liar who gets a nanny job for a wealthy family, but soon discovers they are hiding secrets that could have catastrophic consequences.
In other TV news, Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch star in the trailer for The Roses, an adaptation of the classic black comedy novel. Michael Keaton is also set to make a cameo in the Netflix crime thriller The Whisper Man, starring Robert De Niro.
Additionally, James Marsden has joined the cast of Your Friends and Neighbors Season 2, while Stanley Tucci’s travel series Tucci in Italy premieres on May 18. Genndy Tartakovsky’s R-rated animated comedy Fixed is set to hit Netflix on August 13.
The spinoffs of the spy thriller series Citadel have been canceled, but their storylines will be incorporated into Season 2. Meanwhile, Henry Johnson, a film directed by David Mamet, has released its trailer and is set to open in Los Angeles on May 9.
Lastly, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has announced its 17th season premiere date of July 9, while Outlander: Blood of My Blood teases the upcoming prequel series. Thunderbolts* also sets IMAX fan screenings for April 22, and the Sports Emmys have revealed their 2025 Gold and Silver Circle Inductees.
