Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s editing habits on their family reality show “The Kardashians.” As executive producers, the sisters have a say in what footage makes it to air. According to Khloe, Kourtney is particular about keeping certain language out of the finished product.
In an interview with the Call Her Daddy podcast, Khloe shared that her sister Kourtney edits out phrases like “like” more than others. The reason behind this edit is not due to storyline changes, but rather Kourtney’s preference for a polished tone. Despite Khloe joking about Kourtney saying “like” 500 times, the sisters’ differing editing styles are largely a matter of personal taste.
The family reality show premiered on Hulu in 2022 and features Khloe, Kourtney, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, among others. The show’s production is led by the sister’s who have made it clear that they aim to create an authentic portrayal of their lives while balancing their desire for a polished finish.
Kris Jenner has also been selective about what content is shared on camera, with brother Rob Kardashian opting out of appearing in most episodes. Meanwhile, sisters Kendall and Kylie prefer not to discuss their romantic relationships on the show, while Kourtney has spoken up about her frustrations with how her ex Scott Disick’s responses are portrayed.
Khloe previously discussed the tension between herself and sister Kim over sharing content on the show during a 2021 reunion special. She emphasized the importance of fairness in sharing personal struggles, stating that those who choose not to share should not expect others to do so as well.
