Fyre Festival 2 Postponed Again, Tickets Refunded

Fyre Festival 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the disastrous 2017 festival, has been postponed again. Organizers announced on social media that tickets had been refunded and a new date will be revealed in the future.

The event was originally set to take place in Mexico from May 30 to June 2 but was halted due to a lack of permits approved by the Isla Mujeres government. Tickets, which ranged from $1,400 for general admission to a staggering $1.1 million for a VIP package with luxury amenities, had already been sold.

The festival’s founder, Billy McFarland, has a history of controversy following his 2017 festival debacle, where he spent nearly four years in prison for wire fraud. The latest postponement adds to the growing list of setbacks for Fyre Festival 2.
