Actor Haley Joel Osment, 37, was arrested at a ski lodge in California on April 8 after police received reports of “unruly conduct.” He is facing charges of public intoxication and possession of an unidentified controlled substance. Authorities believe the substance to be cocaine, pending test results.
Osment was taken into custody at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area’s Mill Base Lodge parking lot around 2 p.m. local time. However, he has since been released from custody. The Mono County District Attorney’s Office has not announced whether Osment will face charges in connection with the incident.
This is not Osment’s first brush with the law. In 2018, he was involved in a public verbal altercation at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. He also faced charges for misdemeanor drunk driving in 2006, which he pleaded no contest to and served three years of probation.
