Samsung Reschedules One UI 7 Software Update to New Schedule

Samsung has rescheduled its rollout of the One UI 7 software update, pushing it back several months for some devices. The initial rollout was halted unexpectedly, but a new schedule has been announced.

The Galaxy S24 series will be the first to receive the update in April, followed by other high-end Samsung phones. However, many mid-range and budget devices have had their release dates pushed back to July. The only device that still receives the update in July is the Galaxy Tab A9.

Some specific devices that will receive the One UI 7 update in May include the Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Fold4, Z Fold3, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy S22 series. In June, a long list of mid-range and budget devices will also get the update, including the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, Galaxy A-series phones, and more.

It’s worth noting that this software includes Android 15, which was released last October and is still not available on many Samsung devices apart from the S25 series. If a faster release of One UI 8 occurs, some users may find themselves upgrading to a new version soon after receiving One UI 7.
