The highly anticipated crossover between Law & Order and its spin-off Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU) has finally arrived, bringing together the two iconic franchises. The event, titled “Play With Fire,” sees Hugh Dancy’s character, Detective Price, team up with Benson (Mariska Hargitay) to track down a serial rapist and murderer.
The storyline is deeply personal for both Benson and Brady (Maura Tierney), as one of the victims is Maria, the young girl Benson rescued and later mentored.
