Star Wars Zero Company Reveal at Star Wars Celebration Japan

Star Wars Zero Company, a turn-based game set in the Clone Wars era, made its full reveal at the Star Wars Celebration Japan panel. Developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, the game features an original story with player choices affecting meaningful outcomes.

The protagonist, Hawks, leads a squad known as Zero Company, consisting of professionals from across the galaxy who must work together to overcome impossible odds. The game’s structure is reminiscent of XCOM, with players embarking on tactical operations and investigations across the galaxy.

A notable aspect of the game is its “newly authored Star Wars characters,” which suggests an original side story that doesn’t rely on recognizable mainstays like Luke Skywalker or Leia Organa. Fans may draw inspiration from shows like Andor, which also explores new characters and stories within the Star Wars universe.

Zero Company will be released in 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X, although a specific release date has yet to be announced.
