Ford has stopped shipping trucks, SUVs and cars to China due to the recent increase in tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. The halt affects shipments of vehicles such as Mustangs, F-150 Raptors, Bronco SUVs, and Lincoln Navigators, which are manufactured in Michigan and Kentucky, respectively.
The decision is part of the ongoing trade war between the US and China, with President Trump’s recent tariff hike from 54% to 145% being a significant factor. Despite the halt on vehicle shipments, Ford continues to export engines and transmissions made in America to China.
However, some imports are still affected by tariffs, including the Lincoln Nautilus, which is currently subject to steep tariffs due to its Chinese origin.
