Blizzard Entertainment is set to host a Diablo IV developer live stream on April 24, 2025, where it will announce details about the upcoming Season 8: Belial’s Return. The season is scheduled to launch five days after the livestream.
During the event, which includes an Q&A period, Blizzard will likely discuss new questlines, seasonal powers, and quality of life changes. Additional information on patch notes for the upcoming update will be shared closer to the April 29 launch date.
This live stream marks one of the first looks at Season 8 and may include details about a collaboration with another series as well as plans for Diablo IV’s second anniversary. According to the 2025 roadmap, Diablo IV will receive seasonal updates throughout the year instead of a full expansion in 2025.
