British Airways Crew Member Found Dead in Hotel Room

A British Airways cabin crew member was found dead in his hotel room during a US stopover. The man traveled from the UK to San Francisco on Tuesday and stayed overnight at the Marriott Marquis hotel. He failed to report for work on Thursday, raising concerns.

Hotel managers discovered him dead in bed, prompting the cancellation of flight BA 284 from San Francisco International Airport to London Heathrow on April 17. British Airways confirmed it was a crew member and expressed condolences to his family and friends. The sudden loss affected staff greatly, who were in shock after losing their colleague.

The return journey, flight BA 285 from London to San Francisco the next day, was also canceled due to the incident.
