King Charles and Queen Camilla attended the traditional Easter Sunday church service at Windsor Castle, despite Prince William and Kate Middleton’s absence. Disgraced Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson joined the royal party, along with Princess Anne, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice.
The group attended Easter Matins in 15th-century St George’s Chapel, a venue used for several royal weddings, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2017 ceremony. The event comes as King Charles continues to receive medical treatment after being diagnosed with cancer last year.
In recent celebrations, Camilla credited the King’s work as a motivator during his recovery. The couple is expected to host French President Macron on a state visit in London next month. US President Donald Trump has also hinted at visiting the UK in September.
Prince Andrew remains a part of select royal events despite controversy surrounding his association with an alleged Chinese spy and his past connections to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
