Prince William and Kate Middleton skipped the traditional Easter service for the second year in a row, along with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The couple is reportedly spending the holiday in Norfolk at their country home, Anmer Hall on the Sandringham estate.
Meanwhile, King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the ceremony, joined by Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, along with their husbands. However, the Duke of York himself was absent from the event due to his ongoing controversies surrounding his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Prince Andrew has stepped back from royal duties since 2019 after a disastrous television interview about his friendship with Epstein. In January 2022, the palace stripped him of his military affiliations and royal patronages following a US judge’s dismissal of a sex abuse lawsuit against him.
