The US Department of Health and Human Services is set to introduce a plan to remove synthetic food dyes, commonly derived from petroleum, from the country’s food supply. This move follows pressure on major food manufacturers and will be unveiled by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and FDA Commissioner Marty Makary in Washington, DC on Tuesday.
