Retroid Pocket 4 Pro Console Suffers Color Limitations Due to US Tariffs

The US government’s recent imposition of high tariffs on Chinese products has affected the electronics industry, with companies like Retroid adapting to the new laws. The company behind the popular Retro Android handheld console, Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, is experiencing a third effect: reducing color options for its latest release, Pocket Classic.

Due to shipping restrictions imposed by US agencies, starting April 25th, 2025, suppliers are struggling with “emergency orders,” causing delays in receiving shipments. As a result, Retroid has decided not to ship the Teal, Kiwi, and Berry-colored shells of the Pocket Classic until after April 28th, 2025.

US customers who ordered these colors will need to contact customer support immediately to choose an alternative color replacement. Options include reaching out through Discord, visiting the website, or emailing [email protected].

Despite this limitation, the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro remains a must-consider for retro gaming enthusiasts. Even if you can’t get your hands on the desired color, it’s still worth checking out for its impressive retro gaming capabilities and stylish design.
