Vivo has unveiled its latest camera-focused phone, the X200 Ultra, in China, leaving many to wonder how it stacks up against Samsung’s high-end devices. The X200 Ultra boasts an impressive array of features, including two imaging chips, a 50MP Sony LYT818 sensor, and a 200MP HP9 module.
Unlike its predecessor, the X200 Pro, which featured a 1-inch lens, the X200 Ultra relies on a 50MP sensor to deliver stunning camera performance. The device’s new multi-focal portrait video master feature is set to deliver movie-like videos at 4K60 and 4K120 resolutions, making it an attractive option for content creators.
Vivo has also included a photographer kit with the X200 Ultra, which includes a ZEISS 2.35x telephoto converter, camera grip, and bundled case. The device will be available in various storage models, including 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
While the X200 Ultra won’t debut outside of China initially, it’s worth considering as an alternative to Samsung’s high-end devices. With its exceptional camera capabilities and impressive hardware specs, Vivo has put Samsung to shame with its latest offering.
