Taylor Swift is set to hit high notes at this year’s American Music Awards (AMAs) with six nominations. The singer-songwriter, who last appeared at the awards in 2019, will make her comeback on May 26 from Las Vegas.
Swift has been recognized for her outstanding work in multiple categories, including artist of the year, favorite female pop artist, album of the year, favorite touring artist, and collaboration of the year. Fans can vote for their favorite artists until the awards ceremony takes place live on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with a total of 10 nominations in eight categories, and if he wins every category, it would tie him with Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most awards won in a single year.
Swift’s impressive track record is evident, as she has been nominated over 49 times throughout her career and has taken home 40 awards. Her past wins include artist of the year, favorite pop album, and collaboration of the year.
The AMAs have announced that fans can vote for their favorite artists until May 26, when the awards ceremony will take place live on CBS and Paramount+.
