Kaitlyn Dever, known for her roles in TV shows such as “Last Man Standing” and upcoming series like “The Last of Us,” recently took a break from acting to explore her creative side. The actress met up with me at a ceramic painting studio in Los Angeles, where we both got to paint our own knick-knacks.
Dever approached the task with care, examining every shelf before deciding on a doughnut-shaped box to paint in Mardi Gras colors. She admitted to being indecisive when it comes to crafts, but felt the need to “go all out” and have fun. The actress shared that taking up pottery as a hobby was suggested by one of her younger sisters, who encouraged her to find time for self-care amidst a busy schedule.
This break from acting allows Dever to recharge and explore her creative side, away from the pressures of work and life.
