Blizzard has announced a new Twitch Drop reward for World of Warcraft players, set to be released with the upcoming Patch 11.1.5 on April 22. The coveted Beetriz battle pet, a yellow beetle companion, will be available to players who connect their Twitch and Battle.net accounts and watch at least four hours of content from participating streams.
The 11.1.5 update, dubbed Nightfall, promises significant changes, including class balance tuning, new world activities, and quality-of-life additions. One notable feature is the Cooldown Manager, which may serve as an in-game alternative to mods like WeakAuras.
To earn Beetriz, players must meet two conditions: connect their Twitch and Battle.net accounts and watch at least four hours of World of Warcraft content from participating channels within a set timeframe. The Twitch Drops campaign runs from April 22 to May 20, with the pet being added to players’ collections after meeting these requirements.
Unlike previous battle pets, Beetriz is exclusive to The War Within, making it unavailable in World of Warcraft: Classic. Players can link their accounts and start earning watch time by visiting the Battle.net account page on a web browser and selecting the option to connect with Twitch.
