Nintendo’s Upgraded Game Prices Exposed

Nintendo is releasing upgraded versions of its classic games with enhanced framerates, resolution, and extra content on the Switch 2 console. The company is offering these upgrades at lower prices than full games, allowing existing owners to upgrade their titles without breaking the bank.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom upgrades will cost $10 each. However, for Kirby and Super Mario Party Jamboree, the prices are $20, twice that of some other titles.

In the case of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, upgrading brings new content like the Star-Crossed World area, where players must solve a mystery surrounding a meteor impact. Meanwhile, Super Mario Party Jamboree’s upgrade includes access to the popular TV game show, Jamboree TV, hosted by Toad.

The upgraded versions of Kirby and Super Mario Party Jamboree will be available on July 24 and August 28, respectively, while the full Switch 2 version of each game costs $80. Nintendo has yet to announce prices for other titles like Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
