Beloved Soap Opera Star Lar Park Lincoln Dies at 63

Actress and entrepreneur Lar Park Lincoln, best known for her roles in the “Friday the 13th” horror franchise and the soap opera “Knots Landing,” has died at the age of 63. According to her company Actors Audition Studios, Lincoln passed away on April 22 after a 45-year career in Hollywood.

Lincoln’s previous battles with breast cancer were well-documented, but the cause of her death remains unknown. Her late husband Michael passed away in 2015 after battling cancer, as did two of her brothers and parents.

Despite facing personal losses, Lincoln left behind a legacy through her work in film and television. She is most famously recognized for her role as Linda Fairgate in “Knots Landing,” which aired from 1979 to 1993. Lincoln also starred in the 1988 horror film “Friday the 13th: The New Blood” as telekinetic Tina Shepard.

In addition to her acting career, Lincoln founded Actors Audition Studios in Dallas in 2008, offering a unique audition and on-camera training program that deviated from traditional coaching methods.
