Ohio State Makes History with 14 NFL Draft Picks

Ohio State made college football history this year by becoming the first team to win a national championship in the new 12-team playoff era. The Buckeyes followed that success with an impressive showing in the 2025 NFL Draft, as 14 of their players were selected.

In fact, Ohio State led all schools with four first-round picks, closely matching the record set by Georgia in 2022 for the most players taken in a single draft. The Buckeyes have produced more first-rounders than any other college since the NFL Draft began in 1936.

The selections include:

– WR Emeka Egbuka (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
– G Donovan Jackson (Minnesota Vikings)
– DT Tyleik Williams (Detroit Lions)
– OT Josh Simmons (Kansas City Chiefs)
– RB Quinshon Judkins (Cleveland Browns)
– RB TreVeyon Henderson (New England Patriots)
– DL JT Tuimoloau (Indianapolis Colts)
– LB Cody Simon (Arizona Cardinals)
– DB Lathan Ransom (Carolina Panthers)
– DE Jack Sawyer (Pittsburgh Steelers)
– DT Ty Hamilton (Los Angeles Rams)
– DB Jordan Hancock (Buffalo Bills)
– CB Denzel Burke (Arizona Cardinals)
– QB Will Howard (Pittsburgh Steelers)

The two Buckeyes who went undrafted are C Seth McLaughlin and OT Josh Fryar.
