She recently attended spring practice with coach Bill Belichick at the University of North Carolina and was even CC’d on all emails between him and Robbi Pickeral Evans, the school’s Senior Associate Athletic Director.
The controversy surrounding their relationship began when Hudson shut down a CBS Sunday Morning interview with Tony Dokoupil, forcing the correspondent to abruptly end the conversation. The incident has sparked concerns among those close to Belichick that Hudson is “alarming” and overstepping her bounds.
In March, an email was uncovered in which Belichick asked Evans to CC Hudson on all emails regarding coaching decisions, citing his desire for her to stay informed about team postings. This move has been seen as a sign of how much control Hudson now wields over Belichick’s life.
Despite the criticism, those close to Hudson describe her as ambitious and capable, with one pageant competitor stating she could “probably run a football team easily.” However, others have expressed concern that Belichick’s accomplishments overshadow her potential.
The couple met on a 2021 flight from Boston to Florida, and since then, Hudson has become a constant presence in Belichick’s life. She even owns a white Porsche Macan S, reportedly gifted by the coach, which she drives to cheer practice at a Hingham, Mass., gym.
