NFL Draft Breakdown: Lions’ 2025 Class Analyzed

Detroit Lions head into next season with a solid foundation, thanks to Greg Cosell’s analysis.

Cosell evaluated five of the seven players picked by the Detroit Lions in the 2025 draft. He watched film of Tyleik Williams, Tate Ratledge, Isaac TeSlaa, Miles Frazier, and Dominic Lovett.

Cosell praised DL Tyleik Williams for his combination of strength, power, quickness, and athleticism. However, he noted that Williams struggles with consistency in applying these traits at the next level.

On the other hand, Cosell highlighted IOL Tate Ratledge’s efficiency as a run blocker. The analyst believes Ratledge has short-area strength, power, and a competitive edge.

WR Isaac TeSlaa stands out for his solid frame and arm length for an offensive guard. He demonstrated efficient mirror ability in pass protection.

Cosell also praised Miles Frazier’s playing personality, competitiveness, and physically tough attitude as an interior offensive lineman. However, the analyst noted that Frazier is not a plus athlete and has small hands for an NFL player.

WR Dominic Lovett impressed Cosell with his natural twitch and quickness as a dynamic run-after-catch weapon. The analyst believes Lovett can be deployed in multiple ways at the next level, including as a movement receiver and intermediate route runner.
