Untitled Art Miami kicked off Miami Art Week this year, featuring work from over 175 exhibitors in a light-filled tent on the sands of Miami Beach. The fair’s diverse selection included six standout artists and their unique pieces that caught the eye of art enthusiasts.
Auseklis Bauskenieks’ Pointillist paintings with sci-fi elements drew attention, with works priced between $20,000 to $50,000. His work is all but unseen in the US apart from a single solo show, making his presence at the fair significant.
Ulla-Stina Wikander’s found-object sculptures using traditional needlework were charmingly nostalgic and sold out within days of their debut. Her works, priced between $1,000 to $6,000, transformed vintage household objects into cozy objets d’art.
Il Chiostro Arte & Archivi showcased surreal sculptures by Marco Di Giovanni, featuring antique marble columns, priced at $11,000 for a set. The artist’s work explores the theme of duality and its relationship with human consciousness.
Harold Granucci’s intricate geometric drawings, painstakingly drafted over decades, captured art enthusiasts’ attention. His works, including original pieces and prints, were offered in various price ranges, from $2,150 to $125,000.
Untitled Art Miami is on view until December 8, 2024, offering a unique opportunity for art lovers to experience these remarkable artists’ work amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Miami Beach.
