Mexico Sues YouTube Creator MrBeast Over Pyramid Video

Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) has filed a lawsuit against Full Circle Media, a firm that worked with popular YouTube creator MrBeast, over his recent video featuring the country’s ancient pyramids. The issue revolves around the unauthorized use of images from the archeological site for advertisements.

MrBeast uploaded a video on May 10 titled “I Explored 2000 Year Old Temples”, which showed him and his team climbing on pyramids and exploring hidden tunnels in southern Mexico. Despite being granted permission to film, INAH claims that MrBeast’s team was not authorized to use the site for commercial advertising.

According to INAH, the firm was allowed to film under certain conditions but were not permitted to monetize the video. The lawsuit seeks to hold Full Circle Media accountable for violating these terms.
