GameStop has announced that it will have additional Nintendo Switch 2 stock available in-store and online at the console’s launch next month. The company stated that “additional units” will be made available, starting with in-store events on June 4th at 3PM local time, followed by pickups on June 5th.
GameStop had previously opened its preorders on April 24th, but faced initial online sales difficulties. However, many customers managed to secure consoles through in-store preorders. Best Buy has also confirmed that it will have extra stock available in most of its stores at launch.
The Nintendo Switch 2’s official direct sales invitations were sent out on May 8th, and those who requested the opportunity are likely to receive their console soon. GameStop’s spokesperson, Nicolle Robles, has confirmed that online orders will begin on June 5th at 12AM EST/ June 4th at 9PM PST.
