Netflix has confirmed renewals for its popular shows “Love on the Spectrum” and “Million Dollar Secret”.
“Love on the Spectrum”, a dating show featuring young adults with autism, premiered Season 3 on April 2 and reached the Global Top 10 for two weeks. The show won two Emmys last year for reality program directing and casting, having also won three in 2022. It is produced by Karina Holden, Cian O’Clery, and Northern Pictures.
In contrast, “Million Dollar Secret”, hosted by Peter Serafinowicz, challenges contestants to hold onto $1 million while rivals try to outmaneuver them. The show’s strategy and alliances are key to success, with winners advancing after viewers vote in the live stream.
Netflix has also ordered a revival of the classic ’80s show “Star Search”, which will air live twice a week with viewer voting determining contestant progress. Each episode will feature up-and-coming performers competing across four categories for their chance at stardom. The show is executive produced by Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, Madison Merritt, and Elaine Metaxas, with Jason Raff as showrunner.
