The NASCAR Cup Series All-Star weekend continues on May 17 with a pair of heat races to set the lineup for the next day’s All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro. Brad Keselowski earned the pole for Sunday’s All-Star Race via qualifying on May 16 and will also start on the pole in Heat 1.
The first heat race, scheduled for 4 p.m. CT Saturday, will determine the inside of each row for the All-Star Race lineup. The second heat race will set the outside of each row. The event will be broadcast on FOX Sports 2, with radio coverage available on SiriusXM and MRN.
Drivers participating in the two heat races include Brad Keselowski, Alex Bowman, William Byron, Austin Dillon, Tyler Reddick, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Josh Berry, Justin Allgaier, Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe, Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Harrison Burton, Chris Buescher, and Daniel Suarez.
The NASCAR All-Star heat races will take place at the North Wilkesboro Speedway, a 0.625-mile track in North Carolina. The two 75-lap events will set the stage for Sunday’s main event.
