Microsoft Releases Windows 11 KB5058411 and KB5058405 Cumulative Updates

Microsoft has released cumulative updates for Windows 11, version 24H2 and 23H2, to fix security vulnerabilities and issues, including 134 flaws. The updates are mandatory as they contain the May 2025 Patch Tuesday security patches.

Windows users can install the update by going to Start > Settings > Windows Update and clicking on ‘Check for Updates.’ Alternatively, they can manually download and install the update from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

The new features in this month’s Patch Tuesday update include:

* AI-powered Recall, which uses Copilot+ PCs to quickly find and get back to apps, websites, images, or documents by describing their content.
* Click to Do, a feature that makes it easier to take immediate action on-screen, saving time by completing tasks inline.
* Improved Windows Search, powered by semantic indexing models, making it easier to find files, photos, and settings across the PC.
* Simplified photo searching in File Explorer using words in the search box.

Additionally, Microsoft has fixed issues with Roblox on ARM PCs and resolved BSODs and other problems with Windows 11.

To install the updates, open Start > Settings > Windows Update and click on ‘Check for Updates.’
