The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been a subject of concern due to its small 3,900 mAh battery size. Can it provide decent battery life? PhoneArena conducted three battery tests to find out.
The results show the Galaxy S25 Edge scores below similar models, such as the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus. In web browsing, it lasted around 16 hours and 40 minutes, nearly two hours less than the larger Galaxy S25 model. YouTube video streaming offered 7 hours and 44 minutes, while 3D gaming resulted in 9 hours and 38 minutes.
Estimated total screen time comes out to around 6 hours and 22 minutes, ranking it at number 86 in overall battery rankings among tested phones. Surprisingly, the Galaxy S25 Edge beats some mid-range models, including the iPhone 16e (6 hours and 4 minutes) and the Galaxy A35 (6 hours and 12 minutes).
While battery life may not be stellar, it’s also not the worst. PhoneArena will continue testing the phone with real-life usage to provide a more in-depth review of its battery performance.
