Overwatch 2’s midseason update is here with new features, skins, and events that keep the game’s magic alive. The latest Stadium mode is now live, allowing players to log over 7.8 million hours in its first week, surpassing Quick Play and Competitive.
Stadium mode has become the most played mode, with 2.3 million matches played and 206 million items picked. To celebrate this milestone, Blizzard has announced several updates that will enhance gameplay and provide more opportunities for players to team up and compete together.
Heroes will join Stadium mode more frequently, allowing players to experience new gameplay mechanics and strategies. Additionally, the Ultra Bundle, Mega Bundles 1 & 2, and individual hero skins are now available in the Shop, giving fans a chance to customize their characters with Street Fighter 6-inspired skins.
Blizzard has also announced that Overwatch Classic will return with the October 2020 Patch, bringing back original role queue pacing and iconic hero reworks. This limited-time mode is perfect for players who want to experience the game’s early days and relive the classic gameplay.
As Pride returns to Overwatch 2 this June, players can expect heartfelt touches, creative moments, and space to express themselves and their love for the game. The Palace Royals Mega Bundle will be available from June 3-22, featuring fairytale-inspired skins that blend healing grace with regal beauty.
The back half of Season 16 is packed with reasons to log in, squad up, and play your way. Whether you’re a fan of new gameplay mechanics, classic hero reworks, or simply wanting to show off your Pride, there’s something for every Hero to keep the magic alive in Overwatch 2.
