Smartwatch customization leader Facer is revamping its platform ahead of Wear OS 6’s release later this year. The overhaul brings improved syncing, access to its vast library of watch faces, and new features.
Facer promises a “revitalized” experience on Wear OS, eliminating pain points from using third-party watch face apps. With Google’s Watch Face Push capability, users can now sync faces directly from the app, no longer needing separate installations for each face.
The update will bring back full access to Facer’s 500,000 watch faces and introduce more flexible purchasing options: free faces, à la carte premium designs, or a subscription for unlimited access. However, specific details on new collaborations and features are still under wraps until manufacturers share Wear OS 6 rollout information.
