Dwarf Planet Discovered Beyond Neptune’s Orbit

A new dwarf planet has been found in the outer reaches of our solar system, challenging the existence of Planet 9. The object, named 2017 OF201, is about 700 km across and orbits 90 times farther from Earth than the sun. Its path takes it through the Kuiper belt, a region beyond Neptune’s orbit. This discovery raises questions about the presence of a hypothetical “Planet 9” and could redefine our understanding of the solar system.
