Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial took a dramatic turn on Thursday, with the 13th day of testimony wrapping up for the week. The jury was released for an extended Memorial Day weekend break.
Kid Cudi, who testified that Sean “Diddy” Combs orchestrated the firebombing of his car, described how he met the rap mogul in 2012 to discuss their differences. Mescudi recalled being warned by Cassie Ventura’s assistant that Combs had broken into his home and threatened him.
Combs’ personal assistant, George Kaplan, testified under immunity that he left after witnessing repeated acts of violence against women, including Ventura. Kaplan described how he was uncomfortable working for Combs due to the mogul’s behavior, which included physically harming people, including Ventura.
Mylah Morales, a makeup artist, took the stand to recount an alleged 2010 incident where Combs assaulted Ventura in their hotel suite. According to Morales, Combs stormed into the room and closed the door before exiting, leaving Ventura with a swollen eye, busted lip, and “knots on her head.”
The trial continues with prosecutors calling additional witnesses, including a federal agent who analyzed electronic devices belonging to Ventura and the manager of a luxury hotel in Beverly Hills. The new testimony marks the fourth witness to describe Combs’ alleged abuse of women.
As the trial continues, it’s clear that Sean “Diddy” Combs’ reputation is under scrutiny, with multiple witnesses testifying about his alleged acts of violence against women.
