Haliburton’s Jabs Leave Knicks Reeling After Game 1 Loss

New York Knicks star-studded crowd was left shell-shocked after a crushing 138-135 overtime win by the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals at Madison Square Garden. The Pacers’ fourth-quarter rally, led by two-time All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton, forced overtime and denied the Knicks’ hopes of taking the lead.

Haliburton’s game-winning shot was followed by a signature choke gesture reminiscent of Reggie Miller’s infamous moment in 1998. However, it was his girlfriend Jade Jones who stole the show with a cheeky Instagram post following the game. Posting “Finally got to see the ball drop in NYC,” accompanied by a smirking face emoji, Jones seemed to rub salt into the Knicks’ wounds.

Haliburton has been on fire this playoffs, averaging 18.7 points per game and impressing fans with his exceptional playmaking skills. His impressive performance in Game 1 saw him score 31 points, grab four rebounds, and dish out 11 assists.

The Pacers are now one win away from their first-ever championship, having demolished the top-seeded Cavaliers in the semifinals. Game 2 tips off on Friday at 8 p.m., with the series shifting to Indiana starting Sunday with Game 3.
