Error timed out on post-gazette.com site

Having trouble accessing the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette website? If you’re seeing an error message that says the site is unavailable due to a timeout, here’s what you need to do.

First, check your internet connection. Ensure that all cables are securely connected and try rebooting any routers or modems. Also, make sure Chrome has permission to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings. If it’s already listed as an allowed program, try removing it from the list and adding it again.

If you’re using a proxy server, go to Chrome settings > show advanced settings > change proxy settings > LAN settings and deselect “Use a proxy server for your LAN”.
