Diddy Trial: Former Makeup Artist Testifies to Traumatic Encounter

A former makeup artist for Cassie Ventura testified in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial that the R&B singer suffered physical and emotional trauma after a violent encounter with Combs at their hotel room. Mylah Morales, who worked with Ventura for 11 years, said Combs burst into their suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel, yelling and looking for Ventura.

Morales described how she found Ventura “distraught” and injured, including a swollen eye and bloodied lip. She took Ventura to her home, where a doctor friend advised her to go to the emergency room, but Ventura refused.

The makeup artist claimed she did not call the police because she was afraid of Combs. Morales’ testimony comes as federal prosecutors allege that Combs ran a criminal enterprise for over two decades and committed crimes such as arson, bribery, and kidnapping.

Combs is on trial facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and could face life in prison if convicted.
