Developer Level 5 has announced free DLC for its newly released “slow-life RPG” Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The game, a sequel to the 2012 Nintendo DS title Fantasy Life, has garnered positive early critical reception and exceeded expectations on Steam.
Launched recently, the game has surpassed 45K concurrent players on Steam, outperforming other titles like Doom: The Dark Ages. Level 5 has thanked fans for their enthusiasm, promising more content in the future. A free DLC update, titled “Update the World!”, will include new recipes and expanded gameplay features.
The update promises to utilize high-rarity items obtained from Treasure Groves and other sources, offering players additional opportunities to showcase their gear. Level 5 is working on releasing the DLC as soon as possible, with more details to follow at a later date. The studio plans to continue updating and improving the game to enhance player experience.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is available now on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Switch, with a Switch 2 version coming later this year.
