Frenchie Davis to Headline Artscape Festival in Baltimore

Baltimore’s annual Artscape festival returns this weekend with a star-studded lineup and free admission for the public. The two-day event will feature around 50 local performers, showcasing visual art, live music, and more.

Headlining acts include LeToya Luckett, Fantasia, Robin Thicke, and Baltimore’s own American Idol contestant Gabby Samone. Broadway powerhouse Frenchie Davis will also take the stage, performing at Hotel Ulysses in Mount Vernon.

“We’re partnering with Hotel Ulysses for an Artscape after Dark series,” said Tonya Miller Hall, Mayor’s Senior Adviser of Arts & Culture. “She’ll be performing on Saturday and Sunday.”

Davis believes that art plays a significant role in fostering community and keeping stories alive. She will perform at the festival twice, including headlining Echo Stage on Sunday.

Artscape will take place from May 24-25 at 100 Holliday Street in Downtown Baltimore, with performances running from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The full list of performers can be found online.
