Mozilla Unveils “Reclaim the Internet” Brand Refresh

Mozilla, a global crew of activists, technologists, and builders, has unveiled its new brand refresh aimed at reclaiming the internet for all. The transformation marks the company’s 25-year journey in championing the web’s openness and accessibility.

The new brand strategy embodies Mozilla’s role as a leader in digital rights and innovation, prioritizing people over profits through privacy-preserving products, open-source developer tools, and community-building efforts. The “Reclaim the Internet” promise empowers individuals to speak up, come together, and build a happier, healthier internet.

“We intentionally designed a system that resonates with our breadth of audiences,” said Amy Bebbington, global head of brand at Mozilla. “It speaks to grassroots coders, government officials, and everyday consumers who want to regain control over their digital lives.”

The new brand features a flag symbol representing the company’s activist spirit, as well as a bespoke wordmark and colors that pay homage to nature and nonprofits dedicated to making the internet a better place.

“We’re not just updating our logo; we’re laying the foundation for the next 25 years,” said Mark Surman, president of Mozilla. “This transformation captures our unique ability to meet this moment and help people regain control over their digital lives.”

Mozilla’s rebranding effort is part of its broader mission to build and support technology in the public interest, sparking innovation, competition, and choice online. The company will continue to evolve its brand presence, with new campaigns and initiatives launching in the coming months.
