To stay on track, patients are advised to eat small, frequent meals and focus on minimally processed, nutrient-rich foods. They should also be aware of nausea and potential cravings for sugary, high-calorie comfort foods.

The report calls for exercising caution with intermittent fasting or low-carbohydrate diets, which can exacerbate gastrointestinal side effects. Patients may need supplements like vitamin D, calcium, and multivitamins to ensure adequate nutrition.

Maintaining muscle mass and bone density is crucial during weight loss, especially in older adults. The report recommends full-body strength training routines at least three times a week and 150 minutes of moderate cardio each week.

By focusing on nutrition, physical activity, and healthy lifestyle habits, GLP-1 users have a greater chance of achieving their goals and sustaining long-term weight reduction.
