TCL has announced its flagship Mini-LED TV for 2025 in the QM8K series, boasting impressive features that set it apart from competitors. The QM8K isn’t an 8K model but a 4K LCD TV with a 144Hz refresh rate, replacing last year’s QM851G with new panel technology and enhanced audio.
The QM8K comes equipped with a fresh VA panel featuring WHVA (Wide Horizontal Viewing Angle) subpixels that improve viewing angles, addressing common issues in Mini-LED TVs. The “Precise Dimming” system enhances contrast and minimizes lag between Mini-LED zones, particularly in Game mode.
One of the standout features is its thin bezel design with a 3-4mm “ZeroBorder” framing, creating an immersive experience when wall-mounted. The TV also includes Bang & Olufsen’s punchy sound system with Dolby Atmos support and FlexConnect technology to simplify entertainment setup.
The QM8K Mini-LED TV is available for purchase today in 65-inch and 85-inch sizes, starting at $2,499. While its price may seem steep compared to Hisense’s U8QG model, early reviews suggest it could be a game-changer for 4K gamers.
