Measles Exposure Locations in Marquette and Delta Counties Identified

A second confirmed case of measles in a Marquette County resident has prompted additional exposure locations to be identified by the Marquette County Health Department. The two cases, both among residents of Marquette County, have led authorities to warn of potential exposures at several locations.

In Marquette, individuals who visited First Bank on Tuesday and Thursday were advised to monitor their health for 21 days, following the person’s visit to Meijer on Friday evening. Additionally, a person in Delta County is believed to have been exposed while visiting First Bank on Thursday.

Residents who were present at these locations during the specified times are urged to contact their local health department and watch for symptoms of measles. A link between the two cases has not been established yet.
