TikTok star turned pop singer Addison Rae has released another single from her upcoming debut album “Addison”, just one week before its release. The synth-pop song “Fame Is a Gun” comes with a music video directed by Sean Price Williams, featuring Rae hosting a glamorous dinner party and performing the track.
The new single is the fifth off the album, following previous releases “Diet Pepsi,” “Aquamarine”, “High Fashion,” and “Headphones On”. Rae’s debut EP “AR” was released in August 2023.
In an interview with Elle, Rae discussed her album, describing it as an introspective and optimistic approach to life’s hard times. The music is said to be unique, with Rae and her collaborators Luka Kloser and Elvria Anderfjärd aiming to challenge and play with sounds.
