Google’s Gemini Gets Scheduled Actions Feature

Google has introduced “scheduled actions” in its Gemini AI assistant, allowing subscribers to ask for tasks to be performed at specific times. This feature enables users to set reminders or have Gemini provide summaries of their calendar at the end of each day or after an event takes place.

Subscribers can also request one-off tasks, such as summarizing a recent award show or generating ideas for blog posts on specific days. The new feature allows users to manage planned tasks through the “scheduled actions” page in the Gemini app’s settings.

This update aims to make Gemini more agent-like and provide users with greater control over its functionality. With this introduction of scheduled actions, Google’s AI assistant is moving closer to providing a more personalized experience for its users.
