Google has announced an update to its Gemini 2.5 Pro preview model, claiming it performs better in certain programming tasks. The new model builds on the previous upgrade and will become available in general availability within a couple of weeks.
The update addresses feedback from users and improves the model’s style and structure, allowing it to generate “better-formatted responses” with more creative approaches. Gemini 2.5 Pro continues to excel at coding challenges and demonstrates top-tier performance in complex benchmarks that test its math, science, knowledge, and reasoning capabilities.
The updated model is available today on AI developer platforms such as AI Studio and Vertex AI, as well as the Gemini app.
