Former NFL wide receiver Chris Conley has announced his retirement after playing 10 seasons with five teams, including a stint with the San Francisco 49ers. Conley plans to pursue a new challenge by attending film school at his alma mater Georgia.
Conley played 132 games in his career, making 226 catches for 2,998 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. He had several notable performances, including a season in 2019 with the Jacksonville Jaguars where he finished with 47 catches for 775 yards and five touchdowns.
The 10-year veteran expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play in the league, saying “the past 10 years have been a dream.” Conley concludes his announcement by stating “see you in the next dream,” hinting at an uncertain future.
