Academy of the Canyons Class of 2025 Graduates with Inspiring Messages

The class of 2025 at Academy of the Canyons held its graduation ceremony at College of the Canyons, where students were encouraged to share their personal stories and advice for future success. Student speaker Noemi Rozbrunch began by sharing her own experience of overcoming fear and self-doubt, comparing herself to an old, dusty candle that needed a spark to come alive.

Rozbrunch emphasized the importance of taking risks and speaking up, even if it’s uncomfortable. She encouraged her fellow classmates to “keep their flame alive” and not let fear hold them back. Student speaker Jeremy Lopez also spoke about breaking down barriers and pushing beyond perceived limits.

In his speech, Lopez likened people to keys that are locked away due to fear or comfort zones. He urged the students to find their key and unlock new opportunities. Principal Juliet Fine congratulated the class of 2025, highlighting their achievements, including completing 5,772 college units collectively. She also shared lines from each student’s senior speech, which she said could never have done justice to their experiences.

Associated Student Body President Tristan Simoncioni concluded the ceremony with a message about embracing dedication and perseverance in pursuing success and failure as intertwined aspects of growth. The students cheered as their names were read aloud by Simoncioni and ASB Vice President James Chen, marking the end of an era and the beginning of new journeys.
